Tonnes of hay which caught alight on Friday in Potters Bar are still burning today (Monday).

Around 2000 tonnes of hay in a field alongside Baker Street were ablaze last week with, at one point, six fire engines on the scene to control the flames.

Hay that could not be saved was allowed to burn under the watchful eye of the fire services on Friday afternoon and over the weekend.

A stop message from the emergency services has still not been issues, meaning the fire is not yet out.

One engine is still on the scene.

Baker Street, which was closed on Friday, has been reopened.

The site will be inspected again later this afternoon.
