Welwyn Hatfield and Potters Bar residents have been asked for their views on library services.

A new public consultation exercise was launched this week, by Hertfordshire County Council.

The authority is seeking to develop a new 10 year strategy for the county’s libraries “to ensure it can continue to provide a modern and relevant service”.

The consultation will run until the end of the year.

People can have their say by completing a questionnaire online at the link on the top right of this story or in any Hertfordshire library.

Frances Button, cabinet member with responsibility for libraries said: “I hope as many people as possible will contribute their views.”
