Police are appealing for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager who is believed to be in Hatfield or Welwyn Garden City.

Rhys Ashcroft, 17, from Hertford, was reported missing on Wednesday, October 3.

A police spokeswoman said: “Efforts by police to locate him have so far proved negative.

“Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.”

Rhys is described as being around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build.

He has tied back brown hair, some facial hair and wears glasses.

It is believed he may be in the areas of Hertford, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield or Harlow.

If you have seen Rhys since he was reported missing or have information about where he has been, please call Hertfordshire Constabulary’s non-emergency number 101.

If you believe you are with her now or have seen her in the last few moments, please call 999 immediately.
