The Welwyn Hatfield Times has had a sneak peak at the new Wetherspoon pub set to open in Hatfield next month.

The development, named Harpsfield House, is based at Parkhouse Court on the edge of the former British Aerospace site, and has a number of references to its location.

It has a front bar made of old fuselage sections, and booth seating constructed from reclaimed Boeing 747 engine cowlings from 1995.
