The result for Hatfield Town Council’s East Ward by-election has been announced.

Conservative candidate Kerstin Holman was elected as the area’s new representative with 395 votes, beating Labour’s Oliver Price (299) and Lib Dem nominee Jackie Brennan (203).

Last night’s vote took place after Independent councillor Caron Juggins was deselected earlier this year.
