A NEWSAGENT has thanked his customers after they donated more than �200 to help the victims of the Pakistan floods.
Sabir Mohammed, who owns Best One in Market Place, Hatfield, will hand over �208.70 to the Edhi Foundation, a charity helping those affected by the flash floods which devastated Pakistan back in July and August.
Sabir, who was born in Pakistan but has spent the last 40 years in the UK, told the WHT: “We were touched by seeing on the TV how people were suffering.”
As well as thanking his patrons, the 58-year-old added one of his suppliers had donated an additional �154 to the appeal.
