A group of Hatfield students are holding a charity fundraiser in Welwyn Garden City this weekend.

University of Hertfordshire students Morgan Shearer, Hannah Prah, Deborah Umelo, Elvire Mavusi-matu and Andrea Simbotin are holding a Noah’s Ark Family Fun-Day at Panshanger Football in Moneyhole Lane Park on Sunday, April 15.

Visitors will be able to enjoy face painting, food, drinks, dance performances, a reptile display, tombola, bouncy castle and much more.

Morgan Shearer, 22, from WGC, told the WHT: “We are students from the University of Hertfordshire studying events management.

“As part of our degree we have to put on a charity event for a local Hertfordshire-based charity. We decided to choose Noah’s Ark Hospice.

“Every penny raised from the family fun-day event will go towards providing support for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families.”
