CAMPAIGNERS opposed to the construction of an incinerator in Hatfield are staging a public meeting tomorrow (Saturday).
Members of Hatfield Against Incineration (HAI) will gather in the town at 2pm to spell out the latest developments in their long-running battle against the county council’s plans for a waste burner at New Barnfield in Travellers Lane.
Speakers at the event will include MP Grant Shapps and David Ashton, from campaign group Herts WithOutWaste.
The meeting takes place at the Hilltop Hall, part of The Harrier pub, in Bishops Rise, South Hatfield between 2pm and 4pm.
