A PUBLIC consultation giving residents the chance to have their say on a Hatfield redevelopment takes place next week.

Three Valleys Water is relocating and merging its main offices, including the site at Bishops Rise, to new state-of-the-art offices on Hatfield Business Park.

After the move, next spring, developers plan to turn the vacated building into residential properties.

As part of the planning process, residents and interested parties are invited to a public consultation, where they can view and discuss the proposals.

Managing director Andy Smith said: "The move is an exciting time for Three Valleys Water, but we must consider what we're leaving behind and how it may affect the community.

"The consultation will give local residents the opportunity to see the proposed plans and to feed back any comments for use in the planning application."

The consultation exercise takes place next Thursday, August 14 between 4pm and 8pm at the Bishops Rise office.

If you cannot make it, you can view the plans in the reception area from August 15 to 22.
