A RESIDENTS' association could be formed to combat the threat of the New Barnfield incinerator.
Mick O'Farrell, who lives in Downsfield, mooted the proposal during last Wednesday's public meeting at the Hilltop Hall in Bishops Rise.
Speaking to residents, Mick said the Hilltop Hall had originally incorporated a residents' association when it was first constructed and that members would be able to use the hall up to three times a week for meetings.
Hatfield South Kieran Thorpe said he thought the idea was "fantastic".

He also said the group might be able to claim money from the council's community chest fund to help with set up costs.
