Hatfield porter admits stealing from University of Hertfordshire

A Hatfield man who worked at the University of Hertfordshire has walked free from court after admitting stealing equipment worth thousands of pounds.

Porter Robert Aldridge, 44, of The Holdings in Hatfield, recived a suspended prison sentence at St Albans Crown Court today, after pleading guilty to two offences of non-dwelling burglary and asking for six similar offences to be taken into consideration.
