A MOTHER and her baby were pulled from their smoke-filled flat by four police officers.
Now Jodie Eyre has thanked Pcs Mark Cooke, Scott Pearse, Ellie Reeve and Jay Thomas for saving her and daughter Daniele's life.
The four police officers from Team C Hatfield Intervention were first on the scene, in Crossbrook, Hatfield in the early hours of Thursday morning.
All four officers entered the flat and removed Daniele and Jodie, who had collapsed from the fumes.
Fire crews and paramedics arrived moments later.
"I am so grateful to them," said Jodie, 18. "They saved our lives."
