‘AHOY there matey I hear you be needing some water’.
These were the types of phrases you would have heard from staff at Veolia Water today (Friday) as workers dressed as pirates for the day to raise funds for Comic Relief.
While some of the Hatfield-based team were donning wooden legs and eye patches others in the Tamblin Way headquarters took part in a cake sale and a Comic Relief quiz.
The day, which also included a find the buried treasure where staff picked a number and the one nearest the treasure won a Red Nose goodie from the treasure chest, raised �1,051.
