A WEEK of events, set up to tackle the stigma around learning difficulties, is running throughout Herts.

The Learning Disabilities Awareness Week, run by the Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, will include a party in Hatfield tomorrow (Thursday).

The event, at the Jim McDonald Centre in High View, will run from 1pm to 3pm.

Keith Moullin, the trust’s managing director for learning disabilities, said: “The trust is determined to tackle the stigma that people with a learning disability face in their everyday lives, so we are delighted to support this national campaign.”
