A MAN accused of murder appeared in court this afternoon (Wednesday).
Richard Clare faced judge Stephen Gullick at St Albans Crown Court.
The 37-year-old from Fern Dells, Hatfield, faces one count of murder, relating to the death of Peter McConnell on March 21.
At today’s preliminary hearing, dates were set for a plea and case management hearing on July 23 and a three-week trial is provisionally booked for November 8.
Clare was remanded in custody.
