A MAN has been jailed after pleading guilty to burgling a school.
Alan Forde, of Lemsford Road, Hatfield, was sent down for 27 months at St Albans Crown Court on Monday.
The 33-year-old stole three laptops and a digital camera from Oak View School, in Woods Avenue, Hatfield overnight on November 26/27 last year.
Detective sergeant Ken Townsend, who led the investigation into the burglary, said: "He is a prolific burglar of schools, pupils and staff being his victims.
