A Hatfield man has been fined after he was caught with cannabis in the town.

Connor Buttress, 26, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on January 30.

He admitted possession of a Class B drug, namely 56 small bags of cannabis weighing 83.33 grams in total, on April 20.

Buttress, of Bright House, was fined £130 and ordered to pay £85 in court costs.

The money will come out of his benefits at a rate of £20 per month starting on March 25.

In total he must pay £245.
