Police have charged Lea Kelly with assault and affray


A Hatfield man accused of multiple assault is being held on remand while he waits for a crown court hearing.

Lea Kelly, 31, of Campion Road was committed to St Albans Crown Court by Hatfield magistrates on Wednesday, charged with three counts of assault by beating and one of affray.

He was arrested after a prolonged incident in Mulberry Mead on January 23, when he received injuries needing hospital treatment.
