A CRIMINAL from Hatfield has escaped from prison.
Shane Anderson, 26, was serving four-and-a-half years at HMP Sudbury, in Derbyshire, when he escaped yesterday (Monday).
He was sentenced at Luton Crown Court in September 2006 for robbery, common assault and failure to surrender to custody.
Anderson’s last known address was Lemsford Road, Hatfield, although from June 27, 2006, he was registered as being of no fixed abode by police.
He is 5ft 8in, of stocky build, with brown hair and eyes.
Anyone who sees or knows the whereabouts of Anderson is asked not to approach him but to call 999.
