Hatfield man guilty of carrying knife in Welwyn Garden City

A Hatfield man is due to be sentenced at crown court over a series of offences, including carrying a knife.

Ross Beech, 40, admitted all seven charges put to him at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on February 1.

Between May 30-31 last year, he stole the car keys to a Mercedes C180 in Hatfield.

On June 7, he stole items belonging to another in Hatfield.

Beech, of Stockbreach Road, stole cheese from the Co-op in Bishops Rise in Hatfield on May 27.

On July 6, he assaulted a PC in the execution of her duty in Hatfield.

At the Co-op in Shoplands in WGC, he stole meat on July 2.

On January 25 this year, he was caught carrying a knife in Howardsgate, WGC.

At the same time, he was caught with two wraps of diamorphine, also known as heroin.

Beech, who is currently in prison, is due to be sentenced at St Albans Crown Court later this month.
