A WELWYN Hatfield stately home is to appear in BBC 2’s Royal Upstairs Downstairs this evening (Tuesday).
Tim Wonnacott and Rosemary Shrager continue their series which follows in the footsteps of Queen Victoria revisiting the stately homes, castles and palaces that she visited throughout her reign.
The show, which starts at 6.30pm, will explore the antiques, artwork and architecture that would have been seen by the Queen during her stay at Hatfield House in October 1846.
