Hatfield House will co-host the prestigious The Game Fair from next year, it has just been announced.
The three-day event will alternate between Hertfordshire and Warwickshire over the next six years.
Hatfield House will be the venue in 2017, 2019, and 2021, with the event returning to Ragley Hall – its current regular home – in 2016, 2018, and 2020.
In a statement Lord and Lady Salisbury said: “Everyone at Hatfield is delighted The Game Fair will take place in the park in 2017. This is a special event which will celebrate the best of British rural life and support the thousands of businesses which exhibit at The Game Fair.”
James Gower, managing director of The Game Fair, which is based in Hatfield, said: “After a national search for a stunning setting to secure the future of The Game Fair, I am delighted we have been blessed with the best possible location for the event which also happens to be on our doorstep.”
The Game Show 2016 is at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, from July 29 to 31.
