The Galleria, in Hatfield, is working closely with the police and counter terrorism after 22 people, including children, were killed in a terror attack on Monday in Manchester.

A spokesman for The Galleria has told the Welwyn Hatfield Times that the outlet shopping centre is working closely with authorities to safeguard visitors.

Following the Manchester attack, Prime Minister Theresa May announced that the terror threat in the UK was now critical which means another attack is imminent.

A spokesman for the Galleria said: “Whilst there’s been no direct threat to The Galleria, the safety and security of our visitors is our highest priority and we are working closely with police and counter terrorism.”
