A PLANNED fly-past this morning (Thursday) to mark the official opening of a new police station and courtroom has been cancelled - because of the weather.
Half-a-dozen planes from the de Havilland Moth Club were due to fly overhead to mark the opening of the multi-million pound building in Hatfield.
The rest of the schedule will go ahead as planned.
Former de Havilland workers will join two Government top dogs - policing, crime and security minister Vernon Coaker and justice minister Bridget Prentice - to unveil a plaque at the state-of-the-art facility on Comet Way.
