A trapped horse was rescued by Hatfield firefighters after becoming caught in a partition this weekend.
On May 7 at about 9.51am, Hatfield crews attended Hawkshead Lane in North Mymms to save the horse - it was released from the horsebox.

There were other emergencies in the area over the weekend - Potters Bar crews extinguished a small fire at about 4.45pm yesterday (May 7) near Cranbourne Road, which was alight in the woods.

On the same day, Welwyn Garden City firefighters used a hosereel to put out a blaze on Tewin Road which was alight in the open.

They also went to a car fire on Sloanes Way at 11.44am on Saturday (May 6). This is believed to have been deliberately set.
