A FAST food outlet is not to arrive at a much loved community hall.
Plans to build a Fish 'n' Chick'n place within the Harrier pub, in Hatfield, were refused by Welwyn Hatfield council as the planning officer believed it "would limit the usability of the existing hall".
The application for the Hilltop takeaway was also refused as it "would result in the loss of part of an existing community facility, which is crucial to the function of the existing community facility".
