Easter mania has descended on Hatfield

Easter mania has descended on Hatfield this week with the launch of the town centre Easter Egg Hunt.

Running between March 14 and March 28, participating shops are concealing eggs in their isles that were decorated by children at King’s Community Church, Hatfield.

Children will need to find the eggs and write down the name of each one alongside the shop on an activity card, which can be picked up from The Hub in Tamblin Way, and come complete with colouring activities and an Easter story.

To be in with a chance of winning, children just need to submit their completed entry into the drop off point at The Hub.

Tina Benson, borough council town centres coordinator, said: “Thank you to all the local retailers who have supported the Easter Egg Hunt, we’re really pleased that so many wanted to be involved. We hope this gives families another incentive to visit the town centre over the Easter period and join in the fun.”

The lucky winner will be announced on March 31 and will receive a year’s season ticket for one adult and one child to Hatfield Park Farm at Hatfield House.
