Hefty fine and ban for Hatfield drink driver

A Hatfield man has been banned from getting behind the wheel after drink driving while he was already disqualified from driving.
Vygintas Urencas appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on January 12.
The 30-year-old, of Goldings Crescent, admitted driving while disqualified, while over the limit and without insurance.
Urencas was caught driving a Ford Focus in Queensway, Hatfield, on December 5.
He had 73 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Urencas was fined £900.
He was ordered to pay victim services £30 and £85 court costs.
Magistrates also banned him from driving for 20 months.
The ban could be reduced by 20 weeks if he takes part in a course approved of by the Secretary of State.
