Splitz School of Dance & Drama (SSDD) started classes at Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School last month using its new purpose-built dance studios.

SSDD’s examiner Jackie Styles said: “Some of their [the pupils] favourite aspects of the new dance studio is the light and airy ambiance, the two complete mirrored walls and ballet barres.

“The drama studio also has some exciting features including, stage lighting and full blackout facility, along with a built-in sound system.”

SSDD has been running classes in Hatfield for 25 years, and performs shows at Welwyn Garden City’s Hawthorne Theatre – most recently The Wizard of Oz in April 2016.

Classes now run at the school on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and on Saturdays. For more information call 01438 715249 or visit the website http://splitz.info/.
