Cyclist hurt in Hatfield collision with car

Emergency services were called after a cyclist and BMW collided near a roundabout.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “Police were called at 4.19pm to reports of a collision on Bishops Rise in Hatfield.

“A cyclist and a BMW Gran Tourer were involved.

“The cyclist sustained minor injuries.

“Ambulance and police attended.”

Eyewitnesses say the accident happened at the roundabout between Bishops Rise and Woods Avenue.
