A post-mortem following the death of a four-year-old girl in Hatfield has failed to uncover a cause of death.
Alexa-Marie Quinn died on Wednesday last week at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
Police had been called to her home in Queen Bee Court.
Her father, Carl Wheatley, 30, has been charged with her murder, and is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court this morning (Tuesday).
A statement from police said: “The cause of death has not been established following post mortem and further tests will be carried out.”
