A YMCA store will be opening in Hatfield tomorrow (Saturday).

The charity, which helps give young people a brighter future, will move into Unit 45, next to Thorntons, at the Galleria.

The store will sell boutique and discount clothing, furniture and bric-a-brac and will officially open at 10am. Spokeswoman Clare Gray told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “We are very excited about the shop and being back in Hatfield.

“The shop will support the people and the community groups we help at our drop-in centre. ”

The organisation used to have a store in the town centre to support its drop-in centre in Queensway House, but it closed down about a year ago.

The YMCA is seeking volunteers and donations for the new shop.
