A HATFIELD business forum has created £5million in trade between themselves over the last 12 years.

BNI Verulam, a business group which meets at the Ramada Comet Hotel, on Comet Way, is made up of representatives of every business sector in Welwyn Hatfield.

By getting to know each other over face-to-face networking meetings, members can build up relationships and recommend each other’s businesses.

Marketing consultant Jeremy Silverstone, who is forum director for the year, said: “It is obviously a good tribute to all the hard work that is being produced, and of course this has been reached over 12 years.

“And obviously the groups have supported each other
over the years.

“It just goes to show that face-to-face networking is still the best way to generate business.”

There are currently 34 members who get together on Thursday mornings to exchange business ideas and opportunities. Meetings are held from 6.30am to 9am.
