Hatfield bus pickpocket hunted

A PICKPOCKET, who swiped an iPhone onboard a bus in Hatfield, is being hunted by police.

The incident took place at about 6.45pm on the 300 or 301 bus on Friday.

It is believed the crook reached into the pocket of a sleeping passenger and took their black Apple iPhone 4.

He then got off the bus on Great North Road and ran off towards the Citroen garage with a second man.

The thief is described as a black man, around 5ft 10ins tall and aged between 18 and 19 years old. His accomplice was “of Asian appearance”, also 5ft 10ins tall and aged between 18 and 19.
