A 25-YEAR-OLD man suffered life-threatening injuries after being attacked by his housemate, a jury has heard.
Elshod Saidov, 23, from Uzbekistan is alleged to have stabbed countryman Feruz Botirov in the chest at their shared home in Crop Common, Hatfield in November 2008.
Saidov denies charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
The trial, at St Albans Crown Court, continues.
