The moment armed police stormed a bungalow in Hatfield.


Police have confirmed that a man is still in custody, having been arrested following an incident in Hatfield yesterday.

A police spokeswoman said: “No charges at the moment. He remains in police custody.

“He was arrested on suspicion of assault and ABH and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.”

The spokeswoman said she could not confirm the identity of the 29-year-old man arrested, despite widespread public speculation.

The man was arrested after police were called to Roe Green Close in Hatfield yesterday.
