Children on their half term will have plenty to keep their minds off school in Welwyn Hatfield next week, ranging from dragons to ancient Romans.

Children from four and above can enjoy events on a dragon theme at Mill Green Museum, while their older brothers and sisters have a variety of sport and craft opportunities organised by the borough council.

The Roman bath house in Welwyn will be open from 2pm to 5pm every day, offering opportunities to explore the world of our ancestors through clothes, games, and mosaic-making.

Councillor Irene Dean said: “I hope children are able to make the most of the wide range of activities on offer throughout the borough.

“There is something for everyone, from outdoor fun to arts and crafts, as well as museum activities. Hopefully it will also help parents keep their young ones entertained.”
