Welwyn Hatfield has lots to offer for the last two days of half term with activities happening across the borough.
Taking place tomorrow and Friday in the Jim McDonald Centre, Ludwick Family Centre and Pomegranate Café, there are multi-skills sessions, giving children the chance to play skipping games, jump and team games like dodgeball.
There are also arts and craft sessions, including decorating plant pots and planting sunflower seeds, which can be transferred into the garden ready for the summer.
Organised by the council’s community development team, the sessions are for children aged five to eleven, although younger children can attend if a parent or guardian stays to supervise them.
The cost is £2 per child per session and no booking is required.
Councillor Mandy Perkins, executive member for housing and community, said: “The sessions are a great way for parents to keep their children entertained, and with a variety of activities taking place there’s sure to be something for every child to enjoy.” For more information call Fiona Plumridge on 01707 357 733 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
