GAINING the second highest-ever GCSE results for Monk's Walk School in WGC are its latest set of year 11 pupils.
Even though the Knightsfield school has not revealed its annual figures, headteacher Philip Bunn said there was a very high pass rate.
He said: "We are thrilled!
"These are our second highest-ever GCSE results, so it is another record year for Monk's Walk.
"My congratulations go to the students who have performed magnificently this summer.
"We look forward to welcoming record numbers into the sixth-form in September."
Mr Bunn added: "I am very proud of the staff and the students and delighted with our achievements."
