RESIDENTS had to be evacuated after a suspected gas leak at a block of flats in WGC.
Two fire crews from WGC were called to a ground-floor flat in Upperfield Road at about 5.30pm on Sunday.
Residents in surrounding homes were asked to leave while they dealt with the incident.
Firefighters left the scene at 6.45pm.
