TWO men have been taken to hospital following a two car smash in WGC earlier today (Thursday).
The accident took place on Chequers just after 8am.
Chequers had been closed at its junction with Woodhall Lane, but the road has now been re-opened and both vehicles recovered.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "The driver of one car was unable to get out as the door became jammed in the crash.
"The fire service cut it away and the man was able to free himself, he has no (major) injuries.
"A second man in the other car also received minor injuries."

Both men were taken to the QE2 Hospital in WGC.
