HUNDREDS of fans of Sir Terry Wogan queued outside a WGC bookstore today (Monday) to meet the man himself.
The 71-year-old television and radio presenter, whose Radio 2 show Wake Up With Wogan regularly attracts up to 8m listeners, was in town to sign copies of his new book Where Was I?! The World According To Terry Wogan, at Mahers The Bookseller in the Howard Centre.
Upon seeing the throng waiting to get his signature, Sir Terry quipped: "I think they're mixing me up with somebody else. They must have told them George Clooney was coming!"
