ST GEORGE'S Day was celebrated in style when members of Jimmy Mac's in Hatfield took part in an evening dance.
Attended by Welwyn Hatfield mayor Mick Long, the event at the activity centre in McDonald Court, High View, was enjoyed by retired or disabled people.
A spokesman said: "It proved to be a rather eventful evening but generally a good time was had by all."
The following day, members of Jimmy Mac's celebrated its 19th birthday with an afternoon buffet and a patriotic, flag waving cabaret.

Musical accompaniment was provided by Chris Columbus, who provided entertainment for the rest of the day.
Hatfield Town Council mayor Howard Morgan attended the event.
