A barn dance at Douglas Tilbe House in WGC raised nearly �250 for Welwyn Hatfield mayor Mick Long's chosen charities, The Mixed Group and Macmillan Nurses.

The guests, which included a couple celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary that day, danced to music from band Crooked Stove Pipe.
