Funeral for Potters Bar councillor arranged

THE funeral of a long-serving Potters Bar councillor will take place next week.

The service for Furzefield councillor Ron Morris, who died at his home in Dugdale Hill Lane on September 23, will be held at noon on Monday, October 10, at King Charles the Martyr Church in Mutton Lane.

At the time of his death, Cllr Morris was Hertsmere Borough Council’s longest serving representative, having held his seat since first being elected in 1990.

Friends and colleagues of Cllr Morris are invited to join the family afterwards in the church hall.

Cllr Morris’ family has requested that no flowers be sent, but donations can be made to the Royal Heart Foundation, via funeral directors Nethercotts, 150 Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 1AF.
