A group of women are searching for a vulnerable Romanian rescue dog who went missing from her foster home in Knebworth.

Eli, a small brown dog wearing a red collar, went missing from Gun Lane, Knebworth, on Thursday, January 14.

She escaped through a cat flap, having only been in the UK for a couple of days after being rescued from Romania.

The woman searching for Eli are desperate for people to get in touch with sightings, as Eli can easily be mistaken for a fox and does not trust anyone after being attacked with a pitchfork in Romania.

Eli may have collected items to build a den, so any turned out rubbish bins or rubbish strewn around in woodland areas could be a sign of Eli bedding down.

She is easily scared and should not be approached, but anyone who has seen her should call Viv on 07891 956005 or Ali on 07599 510849.
