FORMER Queenswood student Naomi Cavaday has missed the chance to secure a singles place in the main draw at Wimbledon, but could still claim a lucky loser spot.
The left hander made the last round of qualifying at the Bank of England Sports Ground in Roehampton, London.
However, the 20-year-old was beaten 7-5, 6-2 by Russian Vesna Manasieva yesterday (Thursday).
The ex-tennis scholar at the Brookmans Park school made the sports headlines during last year's competition at SW19.
