A DISUSED school looks set to become a new residential care home after planning chiefs gave the project the green light.
An application by Broad Oak Manor Care Homes for a change of use to the old Howe Dell School, in Old Rectory Drive, Hatfield, was approved at a meeting of Welwyn Hatfield Council's planning control committee.
The care company has advised that no alterations are needed to the Grade II-listed building.
