The Flying Scotsman will be travelling south past Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield and Potters Bar today on its way down to London.

An insider revealed one carriage will pass through Welwyn Garden City at 3.38pm, Hatfield at 3.41pm and Potters Bar at 3.46pm, on its way to Wembley where it will be stored overnight ahead of its journey from London King’s Cross to York tomorrow.

The famed steam train was scheduled to make the journey to London yesterday, but due to a broken spring, was delayed to allow time for it to be fixed and a test-run to be completed.
