First Capital Connect, the rail operator, has announced that an emergency timetable will operate on the Great Northern route with a reduced number of train services in operation.
Delays are expected to be at least 30 minutes.
Trains are serving all stations with the exception of Watton at Stone, where a rail replacement bus service will run between Stevenage, Watton at Stone and Hertford North.
This is expected to last for most of the morning, before a normal timetable service can be resumed.
